September is Life Insurance Awareness month, an industry-wide campaign to educate, promote, and insure Americans. In 2015, the non-profit organization Life Happens partnered with LIMRA in a study that revealed 40% of Americans do not have life insurance, and if they do their coverage is inadequate for most life events.
